| I don’t understand how people are saying the animation was bad, the character acting and movement is god tier! This was by far the best episode. I loved the moment where Maomao snapped at the servant girls and also the scene where the concubine was reminiscing over her deceased child. Also nice to see Jinshi be useful for once and give Maomao the chance to actually help out the concubine. For now I still like his introverted guard a lot more than him. |

| i was waiting for when maomao will teach those ladies in waiting a lesson about how they're mishandling their lady's health. and i don't think one needs to be a genius to figure what words of wisdom maomao shared with lihua to ensure the emperor's interest in her doesn't wane lol |

| Great episode, those ladies-in-waiting got what they deserved and Maomao helped lady Lihua recover. Wonder what she whispered in her ear at the end? Lmao I can only think of one thing (or two heh) but I shall not say. |

 This still bothers me from the first episode. She should've gone to Lady Lihua and given it to her straight. Maomao let a baby die just so she wouldn't have to stand out. It just doesn't sit right with me. Even the Emperor himself known her name? Fucking hell she's become famous faster than Speed himself! The melodrama when Maomao found out about the banned powder and started smacking the girls around was a little too much for me. Straight up someone's power trip fantasy come true. 4/5 episode. Jinshi still has no penis but all the bitches love him. smh. |

| The wrath of Maomao is swift and FIERCE!!!! Those attendants deserved more than the one bitchslap. They were literally killing her in their ignorance. The scene of Maomao collapsing on the bench and Lithua comforting her was very touching. |

Scary Maomao is cool. “It’s considerate people like him who become good husbands. He is a eunuch, though.” 🤣🤣🤣 Maomao gave Concubine Lihua an idea, something that she learned from the women in brothel. Sigh, she can’t use it because of her lack of assets. Concubine Gyokuyou says she’s relieved to have recovered from sleep deprivation. Let me guess, it’s because of the Emperor. And something Maomao said to Concubine Lihua, at play. |
